Will Galperin and I were approached by a small record label in Amsterdam to create a music video for an upcoming release by ambient artist Tourist Kid.

For this video, we built upon existing visual resarch into the language of modeled organic growth, searching within it for poignant moments of dissonance between its beauty and creepiness. I channeled this into a visual language that juxtaposed one type of growth simulation in Houdini with abstracted figures, at first appearing to dissolve or engulf them, but ultimately becoming a means of physical connection. I also handled all production work from modeling to simulation to rendering.
